- Use of the ITA Website
This agreement is made and entered into by and between any ITA website users, member and ITA website administrators and founders.
This website is owned and operated through a partnership between Angloville and ITA. All intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the content displayed on this website belong to Angloville and ITA or its licensors. All rights are hereby reserved
Before using this website, please read and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these conditions, you should stop using this website.
If you access these conditions on behalf of other users (e.g. you are an administrator signing up for a school or for a company) be aware that the organisation you are signing up on behalf of will be responsible for any use of the website by any other user. Please also be informed that any subscription to the ITA website belongs to the organisation you are signing on behalf of (e.g. the school).
ITA has the right to monitor and record any use that you or any other user make of this Website. If you have a complaint or a concern regarding material submitted by a third party to the Website, please inform ITA immediately.
You agree not to attempt to circumvent the security features of the Website, or tamper with, hack into, or in any other way disrupt or disable any computer system, server, website, router or other device used to host the Website or make them available.

- Intellectual Property Rights
ITA and the ITA logo are both registered trademarks of ITA.
The ITA Website and its content and products (such as all ITA courses) are protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights owned or licensed by ITA. You do not have the right to use any such intellectual property rights.
ITA grants you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right and licence to use the Websites and the Services for their intended purpose under your strict compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
You may read, print and download one copy of the material and information on the Website exclusively for your personal use, provided that you reproduce any copyright and other notices which come with such materials. You may not make any profit from the use of that material or information (such as the ITA courses), and you may not make any other copies, or exploit any of it for any commercial purpose, unless ITA has provided written permission. You may not create any derivative works based on the content of the ITA website. By making use of ITA Website, you agree to comply with this prohibition and any breach thereof is likely to result in legal proceedings being issued against you.
- Course products: Validity, pass rate and refund
THE VALIDITY OF YOUR PRODUCT
To purchase a product through ITA, we require a valid email, postal address and phone number details.
By placing an order with us, you agree that you give ITA permission to use your contact details in relation to your order. These details might be used for any future relevant marketing by ITA only, and will not be passed to third parties.
Transactions from outside the UK will show the currency of the country you are in, including throughout the PayPal checkout process. For example, if you are in France the price will be in euro and if you are in the USA, the price will be in dollars. If the currency of your country doesn’t appear correctly, please firstname.lastname@example.org immediately for your correct pricing.
YOUR PASS RATE
Certification for the course is dependent upon achieving a pass rate of the following:
- TEFL 120 hour advanced online course – 80%
- IELTS preparation teacher online course 30 hour – 80%
- TOEIC preparation teacher online course 30 hour – 80%
- Teaching Business English online course 30 hour – 80%
- Teaching Young Learners online course 30 hour – 80%
- General Tutoring online course 30 hour – 80%
- Language Tutoring online course 30 hour – 80%
Notice that ITA refunds are issued under the following circumstances:
1. If you wish to cancel your ITA certification, you will have a 14 day cooling off period from the date of booking to change your mind and request a refund (minus £10 of admin charges). However, if you have started your free online course included in your membership, you won’t be able to claim any kind of refund.
2. If you wish to cancel one of your ITA courses (with or without the ITA certification), you will have a 14 day cooling off period from the date of booking to change your mind and request a refund (minus £10 of admin charges). However, if you have started your course, you won’t be able to claim any kind of refund.
3.1 if you wish to cancel your application to take part in the Anglo-TEFL Scholarship you will have a 14 day cooling off period from the date of booking to change your mind and request a refund of the £50 programme deposit (minus £10 of admin charges).
3.2 If your application to join the Anglo-TEFL Scholarship is declined for any reason, you will have 7 days to claim a full refund of £50. Once the refund has been processed, your TEFL training account access will be disabled. NB. If you choose not to request a refund, we consent to you continuing with your TEFL 120 hour course training at the discounted price of £50, and no additional fees will be applied to your account. No refund will be available after 7 days following notice that your application has been declined.
3.3 Once you have completed your ITA TEFL course AND a minimum of two Angloville teaching practice programmes (one of them has to be in Poland), you will be issued your teaching certification.
We aim to answer your voicemails, emails, live chat and all messages within 48 hours. Please allow more time during weekends and public holidays.
Should you require our tutor support and contact the academic team, they’ll aim to answer your query within 48 hours, depending on the nature and type of assistance required.

We will endeavour to reply to your request within 1 working day (Monday to Friday) and resolve any complaints within 14 working days.
- Accuracy of information & liability
ITA strives to provide accurate and complete information. However it cannot give a legal warranty that all information and/or content is accurate, non infringing of third party rights, up to date and that it does not contain any error. ITA will not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by such information or content.
If you find any inaccurate, out of date or incomplete information or content on the ITA Website, or if you suspect there is an infringement of intellectual property rights or unlawful acts, please contact ITA.
ITA has no liability in case of any inability to access the Website or any information or material on it, and does not warrant that the Website will operate without interruption or will always be available in its current structure and format. ITA is not responsible for any transmission of information or material over any telecommunication network that can result from an error, a corruption or breach of security.
You expressly acknowledge that you will use the ITA Website at your sole risk and that the results of any action taken on the basis of the information provided on the Website or available through it will by no means be the responsibility of ITA.

ITA or other parties may provide links to other websites or resources of which ITA has no control over. You acknowledge and agree that ITA is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources. You also acknowledge and agree that ITA does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising or other materials available on such sites or resources. Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that ITA shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource.
- Members accounts, password and security
ITA is committed to protecting all personal information collected through the Website in accordance with appropriate data protection standards.
You may purchase courses or membership via our Website. During the registration process or purchasing any of the ITA courses or membership, you will have to choose a contact email address, a username and a password. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of the password and account, and to keep track of all activities that occur under your password or account. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised. If any of your details change, you must inform ITA. For any unauthorised use of your password or account, and any other breach of security, please notify ITA. Ensure that you logout of your account at the end of each session. ITA will not be liable for any loss or damage if you fail to comply with this obligation.
All ITA members are entitled to be listed on the ITA Website as a member as long as their membership is current.
All ITA members have permission to advertise that they are a member of ITA.
ITA members are entitled to receive copies of the ITA Newsletter.
ITA membership is not transferrable. Upon membership expiration, if payment is not made in full by the due date, membership will lapse and members will no longer have the rights to:
- View listings on the ITA website
- Reply to listings on the ITA website
- Use the ITA logo
- Benefit in any way from ITA membership (such as applying for positions via the ITA job board)
- Members’ conduct
ITA forums, resources and any pages of the Websites are provided for the exchange of lawful, relevant, fair and appropriate information, opinions, materials and comment. All information, data, messages, documents and materials uploaded or contributed to our Websites (“User-Uploaded Content”), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are under the responsibility of the person from which such User-Uploaded Content originated.
By using the ITA Services, there is a risk that users may be exposed to User-Uploaded Content that you may find offensive, indecent or objectionable.
If you upload defamatory Content which infringes another party’s rights, legal action may be taken against you. In this case, data concerning your identity could be disclosed, and you may have to pay compensation to the aggrieved party.
You agree not to use the Services to upload, post, email, send personal messages or transmit any Content that:
- you do not have a right to transmit or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any party;
- is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or discriminatory;
- contains software viruses or any other computer code which can interrupt, damage, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment as well as negatively affect a user’s ability to access and use the Services;
- harm or attempt to harm minors;
- violates any applicable law or regulation;
- collect or store personal data about other users;
As an ITA member:
- you agree that you might have to show, upon request from potential employers, proof of evidence of papers such as a degree, a teacher or tutor qualification;
- your membership has a duration of one year starting from the day of purchase. Membership renewal will be automatic unless cancelled before expiration day;
- your membership may be cancelled if you refuse to follow the member’s conduct above.
ITA and people designated by it shall have the right to monitor all communications occurring through the ITA Website (including posts made to it). Any content uploaded may be removed if ITA determines that it is inappropriate, objectionable or that it breaches these Terms and Conditions.
- Confidential information
Any Confidential Information constitutes the valuable, confidential, proprietary information of ITA and its licensors, and you agree that during the term of your use of the Services and thereafter you shall not, without our express written consent, use or disclose to any other person any such Confidential Information, except as specifically authorised under these Terms and Conditions or as required by applicable law.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Confidential Information” means all data, information, documents, software or materials relating to the business and management of ITA, its users and members, Affiliates, licensors and/or licensees that is designated as confidential or ought reasonably to be considered confidential.
These Terms and Conditions may be changed from time to time, without notice.
9.1 AngloTEFL enrolment condition
The ITA Anglo-TEFL Scholarship is a package designed for ambitious individuals aged over 18 who are ready to make a change in their professional lives or who simply want to get a renown teaching qualification. Please note that enrolment on our programme is subject to the following terms and conditions.
A deposit of £50 is required to complete your application for the ITA Anglo-TEFL Scholarship, and must be paid for prior in full at time of applying.
You are responsible for checking that you meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
Who can apply:
In order to take advantage of the opportunities the full package provides, you must:
- Be a native English speaker
- Have a story to tell; we will ask you to tell us a little more about yourself via an application form
- Have an interest in meeting new people and learning about new cultures
- Be ready to complete two Angloville teaching practice programmes in different locations across Central and Eastern Europe (including at least one programme in Poland). Programme lengths vary between a minimum of 4 (four) and maximum of 7 (seven) days.
- Pay a £50 deposit (via PayPal), which will be refunded (minus £10 of admin charges) upon completion of the Anglo-TEFL Scholarship.
How to apply:
To apply for this programme simply select a minimum of two Angloville teaching practice placements and ‘add to cart’, you will see the £50 programme deposit fee automatically added to your checkout cart. When you’ve completed this stage though the secure PayPal checkout, you will be emailed with details of how to access your TEFL training materials.
By placing an order with us, placed in English, you give Angloville and ITA permission to use your contact details regarding your application. These details will also be used for any future relevant marketing by ITA only, and will not be passed to third parties.
Should your checkout processing fail to complete, ITA also has the right to contact you to confirm your application.
Once the application is confirmed and funds have been credited to PayPal you will receive a confirmation of order via email, which will form the contract between ITA and the customer.
9.2 Teaching practice dates
We will do our upmost to make sure that your preferred dates and locations for teaching practice are achieved. However, in a very small number of cases it may be necessary to change a placement from your preferred selection and we reserve the right to do so. It’s only recommended that you make your travel arrangements following official confirmation that your placement selection has been confirmed. We will not be held responsible for any costs in travel amendments for bookings made prior to placement confirmation.
9.3 Training delivery policy
Online ITA TEFL Courses
All courses delivered online, material, content, tasks and certificates, are delivered online through the ITA website. All online courses are valid for 90 days from date of purchase (not from the date of first logging in).
Certification for the TEFL course is dependent upon achieving the pass rate of 80%
Failure to Pass
If you fail your end of course test you have an unlimited amount of attempts to pass it.
Certificates (Hardcopy and Downloadable)
A free e-certificate in PDF format will be generated within your TEFL training account details and will be available to download following successful completion of the Anglo-TEFL Scholarship ie. after all observed teaching practice included in your package. This certificate will detail 120 hours of TEFL training plus over 130 (or 200) hours of observed teaching practice.
If you enrol on the Anglo-TEFL Scholarship and are accepted but drop out of the teaching practice sessions, you will have the option to continue with your TEFL training. If you choose to do this, there will be an admin fee of £45 at the successful completion of your course to release your e-certificate.
Students who successfully pass the TEFL training course, can also purchase a reference letter priced at £12. It includes information on course studied, modules covered and pass mark. It is delivered to the student in PDF format via email.
